Hancock Bank - Customer Care Review from Pearland, Texas
Me, My wife and twin 7 year old boys recently lost everything in the great flood of 2016. My wifes car which was financed through Whitney was deemed a total loss.
Progressive insurance promptly paid Whitney $24xxx. Which left a balance 3xxx. Which our GAP insurance is covering, and Whitney sent all the paperwork in to receive payment. But Whitney Bank calls harassing us 3 times a week about wanting a payment.
We can't afford it right now we're spending every penny we have trying to get back on our feet. Now they've posted to our credit report that we're 30-60 days late. So the only thing we had going for us (our excellent credit) in the way of making repairs and getting back to normal has been tarnished.
While every other bank or Crรฉdit union that we do business with is calling or emailing offering to defer payments or do what they can to help. Whitney is spitting in our face and offering 0 help in this matter.
